ARCH 303 BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - Fall19

     The project is located on a sloping land. The project has 3 floors in total of 1 floor of concrete under the ground and 2 floors of steel above the concrete floor. In the project, the part remaining under the ground serves as office and meeting room, while the steel upper floors are the living spaces.

     In the design, windows are concentrated on the south side, due to the main street at the entrance level on the north side. In order to prevent unwanted shadows caused by light coming from one direction, skylights were used in the office located in the basement floor and in the kitchen on the ground floor.
